The perfect layout for me

I always felt like 60% and 75% boards were just too small for me but i didnt want a full size either. The Core TKL is that sweet spot. You still get your arrow keys and nav cluster without the numpad taking up desk space. Typing and gaming on this thing feels amazing. Couldnt be happier with it.

Very solid keyboard

I bought this for my home office setup and it has been great. The build quality is impressive and the keys feel very satisfying to type on. Only giving 4 stars because the RGB could be a little brighter in my opinion but honestly thats a very minor thing. Everything else is fantastic and I would recommend it.

and ive used a lot of them. the core tkl just feels right. the weight of it is perfect, the switches are smooth, and the sound profile is clean without any mods. also the stabilizers have zero rattle on the spacebar which is honestly impressive at this price range. tapx nailed it

Great Keyboard But Wish It Came With Extra Keycaps

The keyboard is beautiful and performs really well. I use it for both work during the day and gaming at night and its comfortable for both. My only wish is that it came with some extra accent keycaps in the box like some other brands do. Not a dealbreaker at all just would have been a nice touch. Still very happy with my purchase.

Got the Core TKL as a birthday gift for my 16 year old. He absolutely loves it and wont stop talking about how good it sounds and feels. I tried it out myself and I have to admit it is really nice. Might have to order one for myself now. Great product and great price.

so clean looking on my desk

i care a lot about my desk aesthetic and this keyboard fits in perfectly. the minimalist design is gorgeous and it doesnt have any ugly branding all over it. but its not just looks either because it actually performs amazing too. the typing experience is super comfortable even after long sessions. love everything about it

Does everything well

I have been in the mechanical keyboard hobby for about 3 years now and have owned many boards at various price points. The TapX Core TKL is genuinely impressive for what it costs. Build quality is solid, the gasket mount feels great, and stock sound is better than most boards I have tried. Software needs a bit of polish but the hardware more than makes up for it. Easy recommendation.

this is my forever keyboard

ive been through so many boards trying to find the one and the core tkl is it. the gasket mount absorbs every keystroke so well and the sound is deep and thocky without any mods. i type for work all day and my hands dont fatigue like they used to. genuinely perfect

Insane value at this price

I have spent way more on keyboards that felt worse than this. The build is solid, the switches are smooth, and the stabilizers are actually good out of the box. That last part alone puts it ahead of half the competition. Really hard to find something wrong with it.

typing experience is genuinely excellent. the sound and feel of every keypress is satisfying. my only note is that the rgb isnt the brightest ive seen but honestly i just leave it on a static color anyway so its not a big deal for me. keyboard itself is fantastic

Perfect daily driver

I use this at work and at home and it handles both perfectly. The TKL layout is ideal for desk space and I don't miss the numpad at all. Sound is great even in an office environment without mods. Build feels like it should cost twice as much. Very pleased.

Excellent board, software needs polish

Hardware is a genuine 5 out of 5. The typing feel, sound, and build quality are all exceptional. But the companion software for setting up rapid trigger profiles is clunky and took me an evening to figure out. Once it's configured it works perfectly — just wish the setup process were smoother.

Really solid purchase, one note on keycaps

The board itself is exceptional. Build quality, sound, feel — all fantastic. My only note is that the stock keycaps are good but not great. The legends are clean and they feel fine but after swapping to a third party set the board went from great to incredible. Easy upgrade if you want to take it further.

not even close. the competition at this price doesnt come near the core tkl in terms of build quality or switch feel. hall effect in an aluminum case at this price point is just incredible value. tapx should be way more popular than they are

Great board with one complaint

Almost perfect. The hardware is outstanding and the hall effect switches are smooth and consistent. My only gripe is that the rgb diffusion under the keycaps isnt totally even on mine — some keys are slightly brighter than others. Its subtle but noticeable if you look for it. Everything else is excellent.
